Evoca Group has formalized its commitment to set CO2 reduction targets in line with what climate science considers necessary to contain global warming, within the limits agreed at COP 21 in Paris (2015).
Maximum respect for the environment, for individuals, and for society today - and tomorrow - is at the heart of Evoca’s strategy. The company’s commitment to reducing both its carbon emissions and its environmental footprint finds today an important confirmation in its engagement with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The initiative signposts clearly-defined paths towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The commitments to the SBTi are binding. They epitomize Evoca’s intention to achieve specific objectives, the accomplishment of which will be communicated to Evoca stakeholders only after validation by SBTi experts.
In addition to the SBTi commitment and the ensuing communication of its targets, 2023 will see other important milestones in the company’s ESG strategy, including the launch of a systemic approach to assessing the product lifecycle from the design stage (LCA tool) and the publication of Evoca’s first Sustainability Report.
